Keep selling when an item runs out

Let the till keep selling an item after its shelf is empty. Stock goes below zero, and the next stock you receive fills what is owed first.

  1. Open Inventory and tap the product.
  2. Turn on Continue selling when out of stock.
  3. Once the shelf is empty, the till shows Backorder on it. It still adds to the bill.
  4. When the stock comes in, receive it as usual. What was owed comes off it first.

Good to know

  • It is off for every product until you turn it on.
  • Inventory shows how many are owed, for example "6 pc on backorder".
  • Turning it off stops selling past zero. What is already owed is still filled by the next stock.
